Leon Ruddy, 67, Of Wayne

WAYNE, N.J. -- Leon Ruddy, of Wayne, died Monday, Nov. 21. He was 67.

Before retiring, he worked for Infinity Elevator Company Inc. in Little Ferry. He was a member of the National Elevator Industry Local #1 in Long Island City, N.Y. He was an avid golfer and boater and a member of the Englewood Boat Basin. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served our country proudly.

He is survived by his children, Kristy Heinrich, Lee Ruddy, Ricky Ruddy and his fiancee Dana Goldstein and Alexandra Ruddy; grandchildren, Kayla and Christopher; companion, Sandra Porto, parents, Mary Ruddy and the late Leon Ruddy; and siblings, Dennis Ruddy and his wife Joanne and Darlene Boylan and her husband Bill.

The family will receive friends from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday at the -Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 S. Farview Ave., Paramus. There will be a funeral service at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Anne's R.C. Church, 15-05 St. Anne's St., Fair Lawn. Interment will be in Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
